Troop meetings are held at 7 PM every Monday that Chippewa Middle School is in session, from Labor Day through Memorial Day.  June meetings are normally held at local parks.  When Chippewa has a Monday off, we have off-site activities. While our opening ceremony starts at 7:15, older Scouts will be available at 7 PM (earlier if necessary) to assist younger Scouts in passing requirements.  The time before the meeting is also used to check handbooks for advancement.  The opening ceremony is normally followed by skill instruction, and testing and work on merit badges.  Patrol meetings are held as part of the Troop meeting for Patrol planning for outings and activities.  We conclude meetings with a physical activity in the form of a game or inter-patrol skill contest and a closing ceremony.  Meetings end at 8:30 PM.  For Courts of Honor, dinner starts at 6:30 PM with the ceremony starting at 7:15.  Unless we have a special presentation or lots of awards, we normally are done by 8:00 PM.
